Drumming has been a long founded passion of Ben's ever since he was around 10 years old, With 15 years of experience, Ben has been playing stages locally and internationally, recording in studios as well as forging a strong teaching career across schools and colleges around Leicestershire.

 

Ben studied Music at The University of Huddersfield, where he graduated with a 2:1 in 2011. It was during this rime that Ben started teaching Drums and Percussion at other schools and colleges, mainly helping individual drummers and groups in ensemble playing. After leaving University Ben earnt a professional contract playing in a resident house band in Zermatt, Switzerland. He also played in many parts of Europe around this time including France, Portugal and Italy before moving to Leicestershire.

 

Currently, Ben plays and deps as a freelance drummer for various musicians and artists and as a peripatetic drum tutor. He also teaches as a Music Leader in primary schools across the Leicestershire area, delivering percussion workshops. He is a registered member of the Musicians Union and is registered with the DBS update service.
